Cedarwood Oil History
The Cedars of God is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a necessity for the once lush forests of Lebanon cedar, scientifically known as Cedrus Libani, as peoples of the ancient and modern world ravaged it for the prized wood.
From the Phoenicians to the Romans, the ancients used cedar for various purposes such as King Solomon raising the Temple of Jerusalem or the Egyptians for their shipbuilding, while the modern world found the British harvesting the timber for railway construction during World War I.
Young Living has chosen the Cedrus Atlantica, a closely related species to the renowned Cedrus Libani as its source of Cedarwood oil. And, following its Seed to Seal oath, Young Living is making certain that its Cedarwood farms in Morocco are sustainable and mindful of the ecosystem.
For September, Young Living Philippines is giving its ER members a FREE Cedarwood 15ml at the 100 PV tier.
